We don’t have marriage degrees. We have a marriage.

We’re Anna and Curt. Anna has spent more than twenty-five years as a chiropractor, most of it looking after families and kids. Curt runs businesses and, as he’ll tell you, is passionate about men in their fifties getting this part of life right. We’re a blended family. Curt’s mother lives with us. We have kids from teenagers to grown adults, and the aging-parent conversations, the money conversations, the “does this house still fit us” conversations are all live in our kitchen right now.

We’re not experts. We’re a real couple navigating real situations, and somewhere along the way we started writing down what worked: the one night a year we plan the next one, the questions we make each other answer alone before we compare, the rule about not keeping score.

Around 50 we noticed everyone was talking about doing less. Slowing down. Winding down. We didn’t recognise ourselves in any of it. We weren’t done. We wanted more, and we wanted it together.

More After 50 is the conversation we wish someone had started with us at 50. It’s for women who are ready to put themselves back on the list, for men who want the next half built on purpose, and for the two of you, together. Real people. Real experiences. Real conversations.

This is your time for more.

What we are

Two people sharing what we’ve actually done, with tools you can do on the site or on paper.

What we aren’t

Marriage counseling, therapy, medical advice, or a program for a relationship in crisis. If that’s where you are, please get real help close to home.

Who it’s for

Couples over 50 who are good and know they could be better. The common thread is three words: I’m not done.

A letter from us, once a month.

One letter a month from Anna and Curt: what we’re working on in our own life after 50, and the tools as they’re ready. No noise.
